I also eat and love ostrich meat! It's so much cheaper than beef, tastes quite similar and is very healthy...
Regarding bird flu, I've asked the butcher in Manor about that issue and he said that we shouldn't worry as, if there would be a real problem, the meat would not get imported anymore.
